Monday – more clouds. A great day for bird watching.
Sunday it was sunny. The cats liked the sunshine. Nutmeg kept chewing on the ribbons around my plants, gazing longingly outside at the squirrel action!

King Frederick still has antlers as of Tuesday, Jan. 24. I eagerly await, but doubt he'll shed them anywhere near. The males have their own winter yard. The females bed down in our forest.King Frederick from Jennifer Jilks on Vimeo.
Wednesday, another Colorado Low is coming in. They are warning of hours of freezing rain. I'll let you know. If you don't hear from me... we've lost power. Good luck out there, people!
Great captures of the birds and cute deer. Love the kitty sitting near the pretty flower. Take care, have a great day!
ReplyDeleteI love seeing all the deer around your place.
ReplyDeleteWe'll have to see what hits and sticks.

ReplyDeleteI do hope your power stays on.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful birds and deer, and I like the picture showing Nutmeg sitting in the sun.
All the best Jan
Nasty weather just keeps on coming.
ReplyDeleteBoth videos and photos are great. Cinnamon was enjoying checking things out. Those deer are very handsome animals. They are stockier than ours, are they White Tails or another type? Our snow has almost melted now.
ReplyDeleteKitty looks like she was trying to keep her paws warm underneath her. You must be so strong with all the shoveling!
ReplyDeleteIt always amazes me how wildlife can survive those ultra freezing temperatures and rain on top of that.
