Firstly, to answer your question AC, we did get the alert about a storm yesterday. I thought it was for the previous storm [What a day of rain!] and someone messed up. Although, they are now warning some more for today. Sigh.
I thought the deer deserved a shout out. Also, hubby adores his deer! There are several about. The fawns still have their spots.

I moved the frogpond trailcam to the arbour. There was a lot of action there! The critters use both our driveway and the arbour path down to the meadow quite frequently.doe from Jennifer Jilks on Vimeo.

This is a sign of fall, when they gather for moral support in their winter yards. Our forest attracts the does, and the bucks go elsewhere.The one doe has a growth on her left flank. They get them from time-to-time.

I can't get anough of deer -- their presence is such a gift. (Not fond of them pooping on the lawn, but can't have everything!) Lovely photos and videos.
ReplyDeleteThese are so much fun to watch. We have a lot of deer but they are on Maui and Molokai. I believe they are getting to be a problem though.
