What is amazing is most of them are first generation Canadians, immigrants looking for a better/different life.

ReplyDeleteI don't know about other countries, but Roumania, where I'm originally from, has always encouraged talent in almost any field, including sports (remember Nadia Comaneci?). Andreescu would have reached the top of international tennis in Roumania too, no doubt about that.
