Buck, doe, coyotes, raccoons

The big buck is a favourite on my trailcams. buck from Jennifer Jilks on Vimeo.

Everyone likes the pumpkins! You can hear her munching the grass. Then, the buck turns up. deer in backyard from Jennifer Jilks on Vimeo.

Both the doe and the buck like the grass in the backyard. doe and buck from Jennifer Jilks on Vimeo.

The coyote doesn't like the grass. coyote dec 6 from Jennifer Jilks on Vimeo.

Finally, Butch. I loved seeing the eyes reflecting the light in the forest as they approach. We had Momma Butch with 5 kits in the spring. She gradually lost one and then another, I thought. Judging by them hanging back, I don't think they are her offspring.  Butch x 6 from Jennifer Jilks on Vimeo.

  2. Funny but I always thought that raccoons were urban creatures. You have so many.

  4. Wow! Your trail cams are a real gift Jennifer! Wonderful wildlife captures. I’m a little sad for Mamma Butch, losing her babies. I like raccoons, to the amazement of some of the people I know both here in Oregon and Florida, they think they are pests.
