🐣Phoebe 2020




This year looks promising.

April 27

They seem to be trying up on the ledge, under the back deck. I kept checking!


May 4 and 3

May 14

May 16 – 1 egg

May 17 – two eggs!


May 18 – three eggs

May 19 – 4 eggs

May 20 – five eggs


June 12 the parents







June 16

I knew they would fledge when the girls were gone. Just once, I took one out for them to hold.




June 21 they are gone!

  3. Jen ... you would have laughed at me trying to figure out if you named the bird "Pheobe" or if it was a species ! LOL
    These are amazing pictures and such an interesting event .. congrats on being a Pheobe grandmum ? LOL

  4. Ours was sitting on the nest for awhile, but it looks like it has abandoned it again this year. Same thing happened last year. They got it all nice and comfy, then decided to go with plan two.
