The grandies were here!

No, not the Vancouver grandies. I did Facetime Feb. 1st, at Bryony's request. I've gone from being 'Gramma Jenn,' with older Cluny, to Bryony calling me 'Jenn Jenn.' Now, she is closer to 'Ga Jenn!'
They are growing so fast.

Saturday, I fetched the trailcam cards, and realized that I should have used my snowshoes.

I brought some wood in, as well, as it was pretty chilly. It's cool in the basement, and the fireplace is wonderful.

The Ottawa kids arrived on a cold and frosty morning. Their electric car was down to 19 % power, so JL plugged it in! It'll charge overnight.

Grampa and Josie were reading in the living room. JL had some conference calls, so he was holed up in the office. Grampa put up a sign.

(In session, Do Not Disturb)
Caitlin, Isabelle and I went out to play. First, though, they brought us some more wood from the shed.

Snowman inspection...

We did some drawing in the snow.

I'd neglected to take a photo of our artwork. I went out Sunday morning. The camera lens needed cleaning!!!

Two logging trucks went by.

Caitlin asked if Iz could dig out the pumpkins, there are still there, frozen in the snow. She did!

I love Caitlin's yellow coat. JL brought it home from his Antarctica cruise!

  1. Colors from the yellow family add life to the wintry landscape.

  4. Good day to be outdoors! We have a steady stream of those double logging trucks come down our Bush road. They make me very nervous.

It's snowing outside as I type - the chances of you seeing me capering like this, though, are slim!!! YAM xx

  13. There are several scenes that define "Canadian" but children playing in snow would certainly be one of them.
