–then sitting on top of the feeder. It didn't let the blue jays drive it off, which is highly unusual. It looks a bit frowsy, but I think it's just getting its winter feathers!
It didn't budge when JB walked by. It was there about 20 minutes!
They are lovely birds, cooing as if in mourning.

ReplyDeleteJenn, I like frowsy too. Mourning doves are usually sweet birds. Haven’t seen any here now for several weeks.
