Daisy and Hooper

Daisy has gone for her spa week. They'll take good care of her, I know. We need the break.



We had 26 mm (1"+) of rain Thursday/Friday a.m., and the side roads were bad. The cat hotel owners met us on the icy driveway. It was awful. I managed a three-point turn, although I could envision me taking us down the hill!


It's hard to believe that when he was a kitten, they played.

Maybe Hooper needs a coyote vest?! Yes, they are a thing!


Anyway, we have 6 cm of snow today. We're off to shovel.

    First time I heard of the coyote vest. Live and learn, huh? Gosh but your Hooper was a cute kitten! I hope when he's fully grown he'll stand up to Daisy and end her vendetta.

    Crikey, those vests would keep a lot more than coyotes at bay, methinks! Well done on that turn. Having similar roads here, I know what that took!!! YAM xx

    Slick road that looks so difficult to keep traction on, and a 3 point turn, there wasn't much room at all. Good time for Daisy to be away, hope it mellow here like the cattery did to Boris.XXXX

    I'm sure several of our cats that we allowed to go outdoors were eaten by coyotes in our Southern California neighbourhood. We had to quite allowing them to go out doors, but that was tough because they weren't raised as indoor cats. Any open door or garage door was a signal to make a break for it. Spent many an uneasy night waiting for someone's return. - Margy
