Day Trip April 7th: Bunker Hill Rd. Part 3
By now we'd seen many beautiful lakes, dipsydoodled all around, crossed a lot of bridges, then we did a big line straight north. By now, it was afternoon.
Sharbot Lake is a great spot. We've stopped here before. We were pretty hungry, as we'd been on the road for a couple of hours.
It's a nice pub, obviously owned by someone from out east!

It has rooms looking out over the lake. I wandered to the back, it was a whim, but there were quite a few migratory ducks.

On our way we went. Next stop: Myers Cave.
This very pretty to see these trip "through your eyes"!
ReplyDeleteI like very much the flying ducks on the top!
Greetings!
It's quite a trek that you were one, but I imagine that this revived you a bit.
ReplyDeleteI like lakes, but we've got only two, and they're both called...sea; The Sea of Galilee (Lake Kinnereth), and The Dead Sea.

ReplyDeleteWow.... like that locomotive.
ReplyDeleteYou know by now probably, I'm an avid birder...glad you followed your whim & found the beautiful water fowl!
ReplyDeleteThe pub looks quite welcoming!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a very pretty area - road trips are fun when you can find time to stop and look at the sights.
ReplyDeleteI finally enlarged the map to see where you're going.
ReplyDeleteI love the word dipsydoodled !
