It's that time of year. They think they're hot stuff! The males strut around, dragging their wings on the ground, while the females ignore them! This is through the kitchen window, which has now been cleaned!!!
Hooper can be heard in the background, whining for food.

ReplyDelete&*<> I love the one so busy feeding then just a lift of the tail at the possibility of being noticed! YAM xx
The boys live in hope.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I've ever seen a live turkey!
ReplyDeleteStrutting their tails, in hope, and eating as if there is no tomorrow. Hooper, you need to meow a little louder if you want food too!!!
ReplyDeleteDo the toms fight each other?
ReplyDeleteNot that I've noticed, Red. They just continually strut around!
ReplyDeleteRedPat: They are much fun to watch. Some folks, in the city, feed them and they get bold. This is not a good thing! Here, they are pretty wild and don't hang around if I go outside. But then, we're in hunting country!

Love the wild turkeys! Yes, it's definitely time for them to strut their stuff. There's a black and white one here nearby that is just stunning that I need to try to take a picture of. Have a blessed Easter!
