Mourning doves

mourning doves from Jennifer Jilks on Vimeo.

This was funny! I was standing there on the top step of the porch, bird watching in the sunshine, debating whether I would go in or not. The doves landed at the far end of the sidewalk and began walking, then hopping up the next step. Suddenly, near the end, the one at the back saw me. Off they flew!

  3. They are so cute, a little like our collared doves. Don't thik my dog can tell the difference he still thinks they are pigeons and chases them at every chance

  5. Don't you wish you could tell them that they don't need to fly away - that you are a friend?
