Some days I just wonder. We were arriving home from a drive to the city.
After a wonderful drive. beautiful colours this year, despite those who said the drought would render it less so.
He tails us for 4 km, on our way home. Passes us on a double line, only to pull in to a home 500 m down the road.
It's funny sometimes, in a sad sort of way.

ReplyDelete...as I suspect you yourselves were not as a far as 500 kilometres from home, I am going to turn that into metres; and clearly the fella is not familiar with the percentages working against him (ie that most road accidents occur within 5kms of home). It's to do with complacency - which of course turns into idiocy as the thought of dinner takes over... There's a lot of 'em round here too. Never drive Dunoon when that commuter ferry docks! YAM xx
Yes, that's dumb.
ReplyDeleteYou wonder if some of these guys know where they are.
ReplyDeleteI wonder sometimes how your hubby feels about the driving and the frequent trips. After all he needs all the energy he can get, to deal with his health problem. I hope he doesn't get exhausted in a way that affects his well-being.
