Wolfe Island Trip 2016 Part 1: Sites and critters

We were there to see if we could find some Snowy owls. My friend spotted 13 on Saturday, and this was on Wed., March 30th.

Some of these are archival photos, others I managed a photo!

Canada geese, mourning doves, red-tailed hawks, mallards, pigeons, robins, American crows, red-winged blackbirds, seagulls, a tree that should have had an owl in it, bald-headed eagle, and, finally, what I think was a kestrel.

  4. Oh a bird lover like myself. I really enjoy reading others' "nature" notes. I'm always out looking for the next bird to photograph. I enjoyed this post.

  6. My favorite is the black bird. He's got that whole raven vibe going on.
