It resulted in a fun video of a pregnant deer's belly. Can't wait to see the fawn! You can see the hoof sticking out of the side of her belly!

Somebody (Butch Raccoon?) knocked the videocam off of the top of the log. The camera was sitting sideways, which provided an interesting video of my pregnant deer!
Fawns from a previous year.

| These fawns were rescued by Aspen Valley. I send them money to support their wildlife shelter. |
It occurred to me that this would be a good place to put a lone bee shelter!
This is interesting.

Cute deer images and video. I saw the hoof poke out! Great capture. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Have a happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteOh how neat! This reminds me of when I was pregnant with my son- he kicked a lot!
ReplyDeleteso cute. hope she has a healthy delivery. :)
ReplyDeleteMama deer must be anxious to be finally getting that fawn out!
ReplyDeleteVery cute!
ReplyDeleteDarn raccoons, I'm mad at them. They raided my racoon-proof* suet feeder two times this week!
* location, the feeder is cheap and easily put back together even after they bust it open.

The Medicine River wildlife Center has found that fostering fawns works like magic. If you know where there's a doe just drop the little guys off. Hang around for a few minutes and the doe comes running to pick up the new little guys.
ReplyDeleteYour mind never stops coming up with new ideas! Love that. THat momma deer is so close to giving birth, my word!
ReplyDeleteThe fawns are adorable!
ReplyDeleteCute fawns! I hope Butch learns some manners and leaves your stuff alone. :))
