Black cats: in honour of Hallowe'en

Sadly, Felix, Mitzie, and Oliver have crossed that rainbow bridge, but we have excellent memories and a monument! Black cats have a tendency not to be adopted in Humane Society offices. They have their own personality traits, research says (read my research results here).

  6. Oliver with the deer's quite a cute shot. My parents had cats who would interact with deer from time to time in cottage country.

We always had cats growing up, and among them were a couple of black cats, Misty and Tucker. They were such good cats.

  12. Wonderful tribute to your pets.

I had a black cat named Max for over twenty years. I also had a 29 gallon fish tank. He didn't break the lid, but he did send it into the tank. There was a big noise, the lid was in the tank, and there was Max, mostly wet.

  14. Your picture of Oliver really makes me think of our Stick Tail. I still miss him so. Every once in a while I see him out of the corner of my eye. His spirit must still be watching out for me. - Margy
