    Heard and saw my first red-winged blackbird yesterday.. and a grackle. That's all the proof I need to believe spring has arrived. Now if only that two feet of snow and ice will melt...

    we see them all year long!! i think they are beautiful and love the sound of there call. not many people do!!

    their poop, well that's a whole nother story ;)

    We have geese all winter but they don't fly around. Like you, when we see geese flying, they have come from the south.
