Wilt these winds lie low the mountains of the earth?

There were 1600 traffic incidents in Ontario this past weekend.

 8:00 a.m. Mon., Jan. 27th/13
Over an hour wait for CAA assistance in GTA right now. RT : A busy start to the morning, over 500 calls for service so far. Bird seed and grooming were required by our critters.
The winds blew, everyone hunkered down.
