Bon Echo Park's Wanderer Too'r: The Drive

This was our plan, to go on the boat tour. We turned up two weeks ago, and found that they have cut back their days, due to staffing issues. Sigh.
The scenery is wonderful. Many home owners take much pride in their landscaping. Some just have a sense of humour.


The drive can be quite eventful, mostly drivers doing stupid things. <

We planned to go on this day, and when we arrived found that the 11:30 trip was cancelled. No worries. The lightning was a bit of a turn off anyway. We drove to Tweed, where we ate lunch in our favourite spot there. We returned to the park, found that the 1 p.m. was cancelled, and missed the 2 p.m. trip.

    Not posting the best of luck (or weather today) getting on the Too'r. Looks like fun, too.
    Me watched Sunshine Sketches of a Little Town a couple of nights ago, with its ill-fated tour boat, and I thought of you.
