I'm not Irish, that I know of. I am adopted and don't know anything about my father! But green is a wonderful colour. It is hope and spring, and growth, health, renewal.
I love "the leprechauns made me do it"! A super green post for Saint Paddy. My mother's mother was French and Irish. And the rest of my ancestry was Scottish, with some Welsh from Grandpa Davies. So I feel that Celtic kindship with Irish on this day! K
Well, for not being Irish , you can sure put on an interesting green display! In this country most of us are pretty well mixed. After all most Europeans are just white guys .
Love all the green. I'm a bit Irish. My great grandfather came from County Down to Canada during the Potato Famine years. He then migrated down to the States. I am told he had a bright red beard. I got a hint of read in my hair from him. Happy St. Patty's Day. - Margy

Green is my favourite colour. Lovely selection of green photos for today.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a fun idea for a St. Patrick's Day post. You've made me look out to find something green to take photos of. Maybe next year...

Love your spring flowers and all the green today Jenn! There is a big parade in Toronto today, just wish it would warm up!
