I live in a country( Israel) where snow is a rarity. In winter there's snow on a mountain in north of the country, and sometimes on Jerusalem Hills. I live in the central part of the country; no snow here.
So, pictures like those in your post with the soil, trees, roofs covered by snow fascinate me. The lovely sunset is a bonus. Thanks for sharing.
Doesn't it always seem to be the way it happens? Cloudy and rainy all day, clearing at sunset just in time to get a tantalizing taste of partial sun, and then a new storm moves in overnight. This time of year Mother Nature can be quite a tease. - Margy

Lovely sunset, always a pretty sight to see the sun after it snows. Great series! Happy Skywatching and I wish you a very Happy New Year!
