Turtle town

Drive carefully. They cross roads to lay eggs.

  1. I'm so sorry to hear about your loss.
our kitty was hit by a motorist two years ago & it was just the saddest thing.
A few years ago we were on the eastern end of Long Island & had to brake for a turtle. My husband got out & moved it to where it was going and almost got run down himself. They were at a bend in the road where cars would speed around the corner.

It's always better to drive slower. I heard a public service announcement on the radio that said most people will survive being hit at 30mph but many die when hit at 40mph.
That info made me slow down.
