Heron rookery

I had limited success, but, as serendipity would have it, found a snapping turtle instead!


What I need is one of the paparazzi mother of all zoom lenses, but retirees must be frugal!

    We have heron rookeries in Powell River. One even halted the building of a new track at the recreation complex. They started logging before the discovery, but the nests were not disturbed (much) and the birds have returned again this year (YEA!). - Margy
