Skywatch Friday #51


It looks as if July, 2008, will be as dreary and wet as July, 2008.

That said, the skies are delightful!

With clouds growing like giant anvils in the sky.
Sometimes, I think this is the cosmic joker's sense of humour.

    Great photos! And hopefully not about the weather. I am from Ontario too :) And it has been one cold spring and really well not great start to the summer...we'll see :)

    It is the cosmic joker, Greg. What can I say?! We were driving two recalcitrant young men 45 km to bowl, a bit out of our way, and we didn't get much of a thank you! I thought it rather ironic!

    I was intrigued by your last photo -- I've never seen anything quite like that cloud formation. Then I read your explanation above. I think the cosmic joker is sending a message!
