watery wordless Wednesday




We're still pretty frozen, but water pools around the leaves!

  1. I especially like the maple leaf, where the texture of the ice is clearest!! How odd that the leaves are each alone in the water!

  2. The oak leaves have been stuck on the trees. The others buried under layers of snow. With the melt of the snow cover they are freeeeeeee - able to dance again!
    The wind has been wicked, blowing them until they get stuck to the ice and water. The heat of the sun melts a little puddle under them and they sink. (I tried to keep it a wordless Wed. - but it does require some explanation!)
