They used to attack my wine glass every evening (and I didn't want to share)...so I came up with the idea of putting a shallow bowl of wine on the counter. We'd find hundreds drowned every morning. Vinegar is probably better -- visitors will just think you are extra clean, instead of what they probably thought about me!Sallie (FullTime-Life)https://www.blogger.com/profile/15442598857394838271noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7155086611992337391.post-47890884029800358222013-12-03T18:24:46.389-05:002013-12-03T18:24:46.389-05:00I'm glad you solved that problem quite well. Every time I kill one (which is difficult with my eyesight challenges) another one takes its place. It's been months since I've seen more than one at a time, though.
I was just thinking about composting yesterday when peeling potatoes and putting the peels into the garbage. I have plenty of friends who compost successfully, but I've never managed to do it right. A flaw in my upbringing, I imagine.
Luv, KKay L. They say that malt vinegar works best to attract them but I hate the smell.Hilaryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12787493532006658679noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7155086611992337391.post-38142328214573683812013-12-03T09:50:35.025-05:002013-12-03T09:50:35.025-05:00Good morning!
