Things are cooling off. Frost this morning. The kids will be out for Hallowe'en. We don't get any, we are remote. There are all sorts of critters out! I drove by this house in town, and the skeleton makes noises. I had to tak a photo.
I put up a few decorations, but I don't anticipate any big Hallowe'en things happening! Joe Brian went to the store and took a few photos!
But I do have evidence of actual critters!
Critters in pairs;
Two deer, one is in the background, left. Ghosts in the dark. Two foxes on the driveway. I knew we had two of them!We had a bit of a surprise on Thursday after I harvested the trailcam footage. We've two beavers. At least. Barry has a girlfriend Brenda. We'll go with that. I have no idea if they are male or female. We'll see in spring, as they give birth then.

Things are cooling off here, too. I never know if we'll get any for Halloween or not. Sometimes 10, sometimes 40. I have 36 bags of popcorn. (OK, let's be honest. 34). We'll see what happens.
ReplyDeleteYou'll have two to manicure your property.
ReplyDeleteSo happy to see Brenda has arrived. Hope your wetlands can support a family of beavers!
ReplyDeleteWe don't get anyone either since we are isolated even though we are in the city.
ReplyDeleteHappy Halloween! The beaver chomping sounds are hilarious.
ReplyDeleteHello, Jenn
ReplyDeleteI have not put up any decorations. I love your deer and beaver videos. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a great day and a happy weekend! PS, thank you for leaving me a comment.
Two beavers...that's wild! Love the cute decorations when I see them. Enjoy your weekend! Eat all the candy! heehee!
ReplyDeleteWe aren’t remote and we only had maybe 25 kids last year.
ReplyDeleteHave a super Halloween weekend.
ReplyDeleteI am enjoying the cooler temperatures! How lovely to see the wildlife in your videos, Jenn!
ReplyDeleteCool Halloween photos!
Beaver are ingenious critters, the chew enough of the tree so that next wind will finish the job.
ReplyDeleteWe'll have to suck it up and get used to cooler weather.
ReplyDeleteHappy Halloween!
