I took the kids to see Barry Beaver's habitat on the weekend. The tree that was dripping sap has now fallen over.

I suspect Barry worked on it. He has been busy.
The flag pole has been here for ages. We moved here in 2010, and I think it predates the previous owners.
I haven't had a bird in the blue bird nest box in a couple of years. The house wren had taken it over two years in a row.
The base needs replacing.
Birds like to land here: Broad-shouldered hawk.

With astronauts around the moon, this is as close as I get. Hooray for social media. Their Flickr stream is amazing!
We had snow on Tuesday, as well as a skiff on Monday night. It was a bit of a shock. I shovelled the deck, but nothing else. It will melt.
Ironically, Joe Brian set off to have our snow tires removed, just after the last of the snow fell!

ReplyDeleteYeah, I've given up on trying to figure out what season Nature thinks she's on... I did spot some buds on one of the trees out back this morning - there's hope! YAM xx
Hopefully the snow is done for the year.
ReplyDeleteBarry is most industrious! I really love that beautiful birdhouse/feeder!
ReplyDeleteThat was an unpleasant snow.
ReplyDeleteBarry's work is fun to see, he's making up for his winter's rest!
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteI do not want to see any more snow. I now have chickadees using my birdhouses and a Wren. Take care, enjoy your day!
Still getting snow. I'm sure you'll be glad when it warms up.
ReplyDeleteAround the moon and homeward bound, I find it hard to realise how this can happen. So thankful the tree has fallen safely.
