Snowed in!

Thank goodness for the deer friends!  They made deer beds just under the white pine tree in the back yard. They removed the snow right down to the pine needles.

The birch trees in winter. The wood shed is in the background. You can just see the snow on the roof.

I thought it might look better in black and white!

Nutmeg got tired bird watching. Mr. Sun lulled her to sleep.

I had some fun while watching Olympic action!

In more news. They came and took my broken snowblower.

Also, we found someone who plowed the driveway for us. What a relief!

  1. Sorry your snowblower broke and hope it's fixable. I enjoyed seeing your shots in the past of your clearing your driveway. Just look at those sweet deer snuggled down under the pines.

  2. The snow is exceptionally deep in many places this year and the deer are having a difficult time.

  4. Will you have the snowblower fixed? Or hire the plow people?

    1. I think we'll get it fixed. It's nice to have some independence. We'll keep him mind in future!

  9. Cats are so good at finding a sun puddle. Glad you were able to find someone to take care of the drive -- it's comforting to know you can get out.
