First frost!

 We had our first frost on Sunday. It wasn't too heavy. It was a clear message! GET READY! 

The wasps and caterpillars are out and about.



When I used the lawn tractor the other day, I lost the lens hood. I looked everywhere along my mowing path. I had a 💡moment. I went into the shed, and looked at the stick that shifts the level of the mower. Sure enough, right there. I laughed so hard. I'd even researched the cost of replacement, taking lots of photos, trying to figure out if I needed it. ($65!) It cracked few years ago, and I Flex Taped it. It often comes loose and pops off.

    That first frost always freaks me out. It's a sign I don't like! But what I do like is the start of your beautiful color. Give it a week or two!

    Your last photo is picture perfect!!! What a great place for the lens hood to fall, when I take the cap off, I made a little pocket that slid onto the handler and pop it in safely.

    I use a lens hood almost all the time; it helps to keep the light from making nasty little incursions.
