Saturday's Critters

It's that time, again: Saturday's Critters # 585!

We had a bit of a melt. I could hear the male cardinal singing, which means Spring.

The big squirrels came out to play. Eastern Gray and black.

Labbit has been a winter guest. She's sticking to safety under the middle deck.

Deer friends:

 We were up to 14!

We've two flocks of two turkeys and 4 turkeys!

We had 7 cm snow overnight. I'd best have coffee and breakfast and get onto that. The kids are coming for a sleep over!

Have you considered doing a livestream of the acres, Jenn? Swedish TV does the annual elk migration and it's lovely just to have on in the background... your deer and other critters would be just as soothing! YAM xx

    1. I do, Barb. They are moderated, and I've been outside shovelling snow! I haven't had time. We've the kids coming. Here you are!

  5. Hello Jenn, :)
My goodness it's still snowing, but you will have things under control by the time your grandchildren arrive and how nice that will be. :) I had to travel kms to see deer, and you have a herd in your yard, which is a wildlife haven for so many creatures.
    Have a lovely weekend
    All the best.

  9. I haven't seen a cardinal in three years. I used to see them all the time. Nice photo and awesome videos. You have lots of snow. Ours is finally gone.

  12. I love cardinals in the winter. Their bright red against the gray skies is so pretty, and a harbinger of spring! Have fun with the kiddos.

  13. I took our cameras down while we are gone so it nice to see some of the same critters that we used to see. Our snow is all gone, but I see we are supposed to get some later this week.

  14. We used to always love watching the squirrel antics. When we'd come out in the yard they'd scamper off partway and shake their tails at us. I always thought it was their way of making fun of us.
