Saturday's Critters

We had a big storm Thursday night and Friday (15 cm / 6").

I did the driveway, but still have to do the sidewalk today. This is what I looked like after using the snowblower!

Happily I have videos that predate said storm. The critters tend to hunker down. This was Jan. 10th, prior to the Jan. 13th snow dump. First, doe a deer, and their fawns:

The camera was wonky:

The fawn need a good brushing:

This is part 2 of three! He hung around for a bit. Jan 11:

He is handsome!

I do love seeing your deer, they are a rare sight to see around here.
We still have not seen any snow here, I do not mind not seeing snow.

  5. Oh I do hope that wound on his shoulder heals. What do you think caused it? He's such a regal guy.

  6. Wow! Snow depths always surprise me. 1/4" qualifies as "snow" here lol

  7. I'm not looking forward to snow fall this year. So far we have not had much -- the storms bypassed us, which often is the case. Your deer look very nice.

  10. He struts along without a care in his own world, and some wee birds chirping too, you sure do have a wildlife heaven right at your front door.
