The kids arrived!

Yes, the kids came to visit Saturday. JB went into the market and fetched six of Jiny's fabulous Korean dinners. It was a lovely day. I was finishing up cutting the dead branches on my Catalpa Tree. They arrived just in time to pull help me clean up.

Papa took a photo of them doing the heavy lifting for me.

The girls sat out on the back deck, after their work was done. They found Maple tree frog on the back railing, and had a visit.

Dinner was great. The girls made up their bed in the basement and we all konked out early after a busy week.
Breakfast was on the front deck. Then then played cards. They took a walk in the forest and found mushrooms as well as the bear poop!

Nutmeg was playing with something in the window. It was another tree frog on the outside of the window. Out Jos went to find it.

Caitlin made a box on the floor, but Cinnamon wasn't playing along.

  5. Kids that age are fascinated with critters. No fear. Just a lot of curiosity.

  7. You're so lucky to have such good help from the kids -- and fun, too. Seems like when we get together, we get some fun but not a lot of help!

  10. This looks like heaven for any age, but especially perfect for kids. Thinking about the exploration options makes me smile.
