My post is a bit late. I woke in the week hours, finally went back to sleep, then had a dream about buying an old house and property in Quebec, where COVID is rampant. Their schools started two weeks ago. Crikey!
As I have written, I am happy with the change in seasons. The fungus continue to delight. (Small things, right?)
The next day, this one was gone.
Pinks!
It had guests...
One box I haven't totally cleaned out. I must remember...
Back at the house, a little red-eyed vireo was giving Nutmeg the gears. It ignored me, yelling at Meggie. She ignored it, too.

I love the wee face looking out of the hole in the box!

Little things are my favorites ~ Great photos of your wonderful area ~ ^_^
ReplyDeleteWe had the biggest, fattest raccoon on the deck last night ~ turned on the light to let my newly adopted yorkie out and there it was on top of the gate to the deck ~ fortunately, it quickly left ~ ~ Never had one before ~ may have to take down the bird feeders ~ Yikes!

...I know just about nothing about mushrooms, but I sure do enjoy looking at them!
ReplyDeleteLovely homes for the mice, and the fungi, a great variety of shapes and colours, they decorate the forest floor so well. Stay where you are, dreams might be tempting but not while the Covid is so rampant.
ReplyDeleteThe little mouse is rather cute. As long as they stay outdoors.
ReplyDeleteLove visiting your corner of the world. The fungi photos always cheer me up. Love the colours!!
