Trailcam tails

Don't blink, first the barred owl. I repeated it in slow motion. You might just have to trust me!

We've a young porcupine. It seemed to like the aged fruit I put out for them.

Momma Butch has her hands full. She's trying to eat. The kits are just trying to suckle! At 30 sec., one kit takes off to the left, another thinks about it. Next, at 43 sec., a little one chases off a bigger one. They are merciless. Finally, at 49 sec., a kit jumps on momma's head.

As darkness sets in, Momma chews on a pear, and kit suckles. At 20 sec., her head pops up, as she looks for danger. By 30 sec., the little kit behind her, pulls over a bracken plant. Next, 16 sec. in, a food fight! They are vicious!

  6. The camera works so well and it's a fascinating look at the critter's everyday activities. I don't believe I've seen a porcupine anywhere but the zoo if that. What a great thing to have.
