Westport and beyond

After Art in the Garden, we went towards Westport to toodle along Canoe Lake Road.

This is my favourite shot of the trip! Such a traditional log cabin.

Canoe Lake, as we reach one end of it.

Rocks, suddenly the geology changes. There are rock faces and hills, rather than bog.

Then, another field.

Snug Harbour Resort has a wee river where fishing, it appears, is good.

We turned around to head for Westport. There was no where to eat around here. We pulled over to escort the snake across the road, but someone on his lawn moved it across the highway. Whew!

The rock. I like this rock face.

Westport

I like the ramp.

We only have three seasons, bugs, construction, and snow!

This is why eating lunch on the patio is such a joy.

The Cove

Sunday afternoon music by Head Over Heels.

I saw her taking a photo, and I photobombed them! We chatted.

Canada Geese on Sand Lake

I like Westport! It's the season for going topless...

Lovely view from these homes.

Headed home... lots going on.

Slow down, peeps.

Can you see the headlights through the rear window?! We followed her for quite a time. Somebody had to pass us and several cars.

  3. The log cabin is my favorite shot too.
I like your hat and your hubby's 'safari' outfit.
Now, if you could bring me a picture of little Brioni - the enjoyment will be complete:)

  5. Another genuine log cabin being built, crazy drivers, and a wonderful looking couple in some of the pics today, another great outing, as I drove alongside. Love those homes right by the water.

  8. That is kind, Duta! We haven't seen Bryony in over a year! They live on the west coast, we are in central Canada!
