Frogpond Photos

What a month it has been for weather. The frogpond has been interesting to watch. Rain, snow, sleet, and hail! The water levels are really high. This is good, as it means the critters are protected. We lost all of our snow Dec. 28th, in a melt, then it snowed the 30th. It's perfect for skating!

    Happy New Year. Look at the snow round the pond,and slippery ice reflections.
    I can safely hang up my lovely calendar now, not that I believe in any such superstition, I had to buy some hanging hooks first.

    Quite a mix of weather!

    They've opened up a portion of the Canal here for skating as of yesterday.
