Close Eyes –the original. Has Jos ever grown! |

First crocus! |
It used to be a simple 'close eyes', when receiving a gift, but then he bought himself an Irish Viking King hat, and things went sideways. He was suitably corrected, the Vikings didn't have horns on their helmets. No matter.
Last Month (St. Patrick's Day) they had to recite "Irish Swedish Meatballs, Please!"
Now, they have to close their eyes and say, "Irish Swedish Bunny Meatballs." Grampa bought himself some rabbit ears. And, yes, he wears it into town!
There was craft beer, furry babies, some costume jewelry, a container of dinosaurs, a book for Papa, and an umbrella for Mummy. The Easter Bunny brought a colouring mural for Izzy, a fairy door for Jos.
We were serenaded, as Jos is taking piano lessons, and Izzy is taking ukulele lessons! Such fun!

Sadly, it was time to say goodbye! I had a bunch of ARC books, and the kids took them for the school's sale. That added to the packed car...

Grampa brought me flowers!
JL we gave a statue, made in Guatemala, the Patron Saint of Cooks!

What a wonderful family Easter!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! I know kids grow, but ...
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a fun day with family.
What a grand time together, and all that luggage for a day or so. Lovely gifts, the statue is very impressive, and your flowers gorgeous. Down here, a frost!!! The fire is lit very early.
