Smelling branches, and trying to climb to the top of the water fountain (well-wrapped for winter). First, she ventured along the path I'd made with my snowshoes. I had to bring some wood up from the shed. After 20cm or so it was rough walking in the yard.
She liked the trench I created hauling up the wood.

So much snow ... I don't blame Daisy for being a little hesitant.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Everytime I enter your blog I derive pleasure from the Header.
ReplyDeleteSanta is very cute, and despite the thick snow and the cold, the landscape doesn't look desolate; the trees have color and life of their own.
Plowing through that much snow must be great for the cardiovascular system. I would think it would be a very pleasant outing with all the fresh snow.
ReplyDeleteShe does seem to like making her rounds!
ReplyDeleteSerious snow there Jenn. I'm sorry, but I could never be so brave as to live just there, even though I'm sure it wonderful in the summer.
ReplyDeleteGood way to move wood around in the winter. Much easier than trying to carry it and sinking in the snow. - Margy
ReplyDeleteYay for Daisy and a little fresh air.
ReplyDeleteNow that's what I call snow. We haven't had any like that in while. Still a month or so left though.
I know you were both happy to get back inside! Beautiful photos!
