Frog pond across the years

This morning it's a cold one.

I thought I'd celebrate the seasons!

We moved here in mid-September, 2010. I've been wrestling with finding photos over the years.

Oct. 2012

   

April 2013 



The pond in May, 2014. 

It's usually full after Spring melt. This is down by half.

Nov. 2014

This was a fun year. Muskrats moved in, as there was lots of food and water.    

Dec. 2014

Lots of critters use the pond. Many simply travel across it!

   

April 2015

 

July 2015

 

2016 a drought

Wetland grasses grew. The frogs disappeared.

 Nov. 2016 

The pond began to fill up in November, 2016. Just a tad.
  

Dec. 16, 2016

Happily, the frog pond is filling up. Daisy went skating.


Then we had a meltdown.

    WoW!! so interesting and many changes. I wanted to something similar with a tree i planted but i lost track of it!! it's a nice pond that provides great blogging material and entertainment!!!
