62 km –Perth to Manotick: The Swan, for a lookie at the Marina and lunch. We were early, they didn't open util 11:00! Lovely boats, and much traffic (including two fire engines). I loved the paperweight to keep the bill from flying away! One sleepy-looking teen selling strawberries...

Farewell, Yam!
This was the first leg of Yam's trip, beginning at BAR, then visiting friends along the way. We were all so happy to welcome her, I know!

After Yam left us, she took a train east. She is an amazing world traveler! She took the train east, ending in Halifax, where she headed home July 1st, to Scotland.

ReplyDeleteYes, landed back on home turf - was very sorry to have to leave before Canada Day - and the Halifax Tattoo - which I only found out about this week!!! So many kilts everywhere &*> Now need to get my processing done so can write up my own version of the whole Americas Adventure!!! YAM xx
