| Art in the barn 2014 |
We went to the 5th annual show,
Rideau Lakes Artists' Association.
We were babysitting last year and took our girls. Jos decided to make herself a barn. That was much fun! They wanted photos with each of the artists!
We couldn't take them this year, as they weren't with us.
Instead, the kids went to the
Osgoode Medieval Festival! Jos, who stood in line for nearly an hour trying to get her face painted on
Canada Day, then there was a huge storm and we went home, finally got her face done! They even made the CTVOttawa news!
Here are a few photos from the 2015 art show. One artist,
Cathy Rivoire (another retired teacher!), wrote a book
Finding Magic, and illustrated it. It's a great idea!

You have a very active arts community in your area. Providing space for artists to promote their work pays off.
