Outdoor play is so healing

My Thursday client cancelled, and I had the day off. What to do? What to do?
We took a drive, and I spotted a slightly melted canoe snow sculpture. It must have been awesome!

We did some shopping and arrived home. It was a chilly day, but we had some outdoor play.
Cats played outdoors in the sun, I tidied up old bird seed and the cats hung out.


Buster had a busy early morning and wanted to sleep in. How could I make the bed?!

Annabelle has been reluctant to go outdoors. She'll scratch at the door frantically, wanting in. I think she is afraid of being locked out. I sure wish I knew her story. She is very happy to be living with us. Very affectionate, she is a people cat. She and Daisy had a grand time in the sun. It was the first time Lady Annabelle of Ashton actually relaxes outside. Another thing we noticed about her is that she watches TV!
The bear was a gift for hubby, but it holds my trailcam rather well. This is how I managed the video of Dratted Red Squirrel the other day.

    I cannot imagine that you'd ever have trouble filling some extra free time! Love the yard play. And your newest kitty is going to LOVE spring and summer.

    I imagine Annabelle would feel more at ease as spring goes along and you're outside more as well.

    I, too, wonder where our adoptee cats have been, You are so lucky that Lady A is a "people person", our Ginger Boy has yet to even purr, but I can now pat him every time he has a feed, huge progress. Look at all that snow, no wonder they have enjoyed the sun. Take care, both of you. Hugs.
