We had visitors!

The goldfish toy is a favourite!
First we had breakfast, then indoor play. We eased ourselves into the frosty morning. The girls tried on their dresses, Isabelle put hers on over her jammies, at first.

Josephine is less happy to be photographed than Isabelle, these days! It was a chase game around the dining room table.

Isabelle was so pleased that Annabelle is such an affectionate cat. lady Annabelle has been very well socialized, and isn't afraid of our little dynamos, who are usually in high gear!

Annabelle was keen on helping Isabelle do her maze in her new game and puzzle book!

    A friend allowed me to borrow his van to go to Almonte to take some photos of the ice in the river. The lens broke after a few shots, so we wandered through a lot of the stores instead. There is a taxidermy snowy owl in one of them, and I was in awe of it! The talons are especially impressive. I wish the camera had been working so I could have borrowed a stool, and recorded it!
