Another trip to the city –ghost bike

Everytime we come home from an appointment at the cancer clinic: we pass the river, Canada geese, and the memorial ghost bike. It is time to remove this memorial. It's a hazard for those in wheelchairs, for those ploughing the sidewalk, and it simply doesn't belong here.

    The view of the river is pretty! I have seen many of these memorials along the roads..

    You know, you wish the family of this woman would appreciate that it shouldn't be there anymore. I think everytime I see it that this does not help soften the loss for them in the first place, and it's just a visual distraction that's going to get someone else killed someday.
