September Trip to Westport

The last days of summer are the best. Cool at night, the sun warms us by day.

We took a trip to Westport. A teacher was taking her class for a walk about the docks. They'd stopped for ice cream on the way.

The sunfish were sunning.
The geese were practicing formation, like feathered students learning how to line up, paddling along in formation. A few folks had rented house boats and were enjoying the lake.

    Westport has been on our list of places to visit but we never seem to get there. It sure looks lovely.

    these are great days to visit places. People are not there and you have the whole place to yourself.
