Aren't they wonderful? It was a pair with two wee ones, nearly grown. Soon they will be leaving us for warmer climes.

On a trip to the beach, I spotted some loons searching for lunch. A pair of adults and nearly-grown babies. Izzy was playing, while the loons swam safely inside the buoy barrier!

I haven't had my loon fix this year. I know where they are and I ride by quite often.
