I had to block the doorway and put up chicken wire to keep the dang cats out.
This year, they've chosen the shed (see the final photo!). A much better placement, and hopefully above the reach of the kitties, all four of them.

I just love the phoebe? phoebe? phoebe! tweet. It really says "spring" to me.

ReplyDeleteThey are back nesting right over my front door again. It's a bit of a nuisance, but we let them have one litter then we discourage them.
ReplyDeletePhoebes are often overlooked because they are so very quiet. I see very few here.

ReplyDeleteThose phobes are inquisitive little birds. When it starts to get too hot in my Retreat I leave the door open - and before I know it a couple of these characters will fly inside just to check things out. Need I say I spread all sorts of seed outside for them. :))
