Coyote barks in the night


Have you ever seen one? More than wild dogs, they eat anything, adapt to humans, and have been encroaching on civilisation.

We thought Felix had been taken by a coyote. Turns out we were wrong.

    We have seen coyotes making their way through the field behind the house, and we certainly hear them often enough.

    I have, we lived all but the last 7 of my 56 years with coytotes in the forest all around our home. We had wolves as well but unlike coyotes, wolves are shy around humans, coytotes are not shy,

    I saw one crossing the road in front of me when I was in Arizona, but otherwise, only in the zoo.
