Yes, they like to cross the highway, and we cannot convince them otherwise.
They see a squirrel run, and the spirit moves them.
JB went across the road to call them. Instead, Bambi responded to the call. She was about to follow him across the road...
Oh, deer.
ReplyDeleteWhen anyone mentions calling cats, I remember calling my cat Hermie one day. Then I noticed him on the neighbours' roof, where he was trying to decide how to get down. It took him a while to figure it out, but he knew he was to come home, so he did. He always came when called, but that day I gave him a special treat to reward his thought and effort.
I hope your cats eventually came home without Bambi.

That is the trouble with cats--they just won't listen.
ReplyDeleteSurprise visitor! Nice!
ReplyDeleteSo JB can herd deer but not cats.
ReplyDeleteI have found the cats simply ignore me if they don't want to come in, so they are now indoor only cats. I live in the suburbs, and some neighbours are not cat lovers...
ReplyDeleteHe says , that is entirely true, Red. Cats, well you can
ReplyDeletebeg, plead, and let them do whatever they wanted in the first place!
