Fred went into the tall grasses, and promptly hissed and yowled at them. Buster retreated, Felix advanced. At that point I picked them both up and took them indoors.
I can't remember what kind of critter is Fred. (Trust Felix to advance while Buster retreats.) Fred doesn't seem big enough to be a badger (thank goodness) so is he a marmot or a groundhog? Glad you picked up the twins and took them home. Wild things have sharper teeth and claws than kitties, even. K
We used to have opossums visit our home in Los Angeles, but our cats just ignored the. I hated it when they came in through the cat door. They had some pretty nasty teeth when cornered. Good thing the cats gave then a wide berth. - Margy
